#God Mode Folder : Now before you jump into doing this, if you are using a windows vista 64-bit do not try this, as it will cause a reboot loop.
The windows hidden ”God Mode” folder offers a control panel containing just about all the operating systems settings, this makes it easy for users to change or tweak settings, from scheduling tasks, add devices, change date and time and lots more.

With the God mode, you can easily access just about anything from just one folder, cool right? To access/activate the God Mode on your PC.

– Create a new folder on your PC
– Rename the folder to God Mode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}. 
–The folder icon will change to a control panel icon once renamed.

You can now tweak settings on your PC with total ease.

#Remove Large Files Wasting Space : Most PC users have numerous folders containing lots of files on their PC , these folders sometimes have mini folders, even mini folders sometimes have mini-mini folders, when this happens it becomes difficult to locate irrelevant files on your PC, A tool called WinDirStat (Windows directory statistic) can be used to easily find large files that are taking up space on your drive. WinDirStat can be downloaded from here

It is not large, it’s about 637kb, WinDirStat lets you delete large files directly from it.

#PSR ( Problem Step Recorder) : Many people do not know about this cool PC tool. It is a tool that automatically records any mouse click and takes screenshots. So if you have a problem with your PC and need assistance you can simply follow these steps to parse a detailed descriptive video to a personnel for assistance. To do this go to RUN by tapping windows   + R,

The run interface will open, then type ”psr”. without the quote or full stop and OK. the tool will pop up for use. When you are done with it you can send it.

#Reduce Start-up Programs : A friend once complained to me that it takes her computer ages to boot, all i did to solve the problem was reduce the number of programs running at start-up and she was thanking me all day. If you PC takes too long to boot, its probably because you have too many programs running at start-up. Reducing this programs running at start-up should be your next resort.

To disable programs running at start-up, go to RUN by pressing windows  + R and type ”msconfig”. Do this without including the quote and full stop, after typing and selecting OK, a small window will appear, select the start-up tab. From the start-up tab you can disable programs that run at start-up

If you are using windows 8 and above, after clicking the start-up tab simply click the ”open task manager” to disable programs that run at start-up.

#Windows Narrator : Okay, to be honest with you , i have only tried this computer trick on windows 10 and it works. you can as well become a tech guru and try it on other versions, but don’t forget to fill me in on your success rate.

The windows narrator reads text on your PC aloud for you, it also describes events, like calender appointments or notifications, the narrator is pretty cool, you can actually use your PC without a display.

To start or stop the narrator, simply press the windows  + enter.

To see all narrator commands, press CapsLock + F1.

# CTRL + Z (Undo any mistake)

Most users do not know the ultimate power of CTRL + Z, you can undo almost any action. If you mistakenly delete a file or move a file, the CTRL + Z can bring it back to where it was. The CTRL + Z is not limited to the windows interface, you can also use it on different programs like FL-studio. lets say your making a beat and you mistakenly delete a track, The CTRL + Z will get it back for you.

So if you have not been using the CTRL + Z to its full capacity, you should start using it to fix little mistakes.

# Force Close Running Program

 

Lets say a running program on your PC suddenly becomes laggy/slowor maybe it is not responding as it should you can quickly/forcefully close it by touching ALT + F4 simultaneously.

 

#Minimize Everything

 

Sometimes you have a lot of programs running and want it them all to go away (minimize), so that you can get to the desktop, pressing windows  + D will minimize everything. This will save you some time other than pressing the minimize button for each application or window. You can also use Windows  + M but there is no undoing, windows  + D is more favourable.

 

#Quickly Rename A File

 

Did you know there’s a shortcut for renaming files/folders? yes there is. with just a button you can rename your files and folder. To achieve this simply press F2 while a file is selected. you can also do this for renaming many files, just select all files you want to rename, tap F2 and type in the new name, all files will be automatically renamed. All files can’t bear same name, but not to worry, your PC will automatically assign a suffix. example (1), (2), (3) and so on for all the files.

 

#Quick Lock

 

If it takes your computer ages to lock when you get up, and thus leaving your files accessible and vulnerable to friends or young ones, you can lock your PC by pressing the Windows  + L buttons simultaneously, your PC will immediately lock requiring a password.

Pacman – You can play pacman on Google by just searching the keyword ”Pacman” on Google without the quotes, after the search result appears, you will see a pacman interface, just click and start playing.

Zerg rush – You can also play a game called zerg rush by simply searching the keyword ”zerg rush” on Google without the quotes.
